We’ve all had a few days to get back into our regular routines and put the holidays behind us. Now it’s time to start thinking about what you are going to do this year. 2016 is going to be an awesome year for Baltimore events so get your calendars out and start making your Baltimore travel plans.
In January, we welcome back the Mid-Atlantic Nursery Tradeshow (MANTS) for their annual tradeshow, and then we get into sports mode with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and the US Lacrosse convention. We finish the month with the Baltimore Boat Show and the Baltimore Wedding Experience (look for us at booth 216 to talk everything wedding).
The Royal Farms Arena will kick off the 2016 Baltimore concerts with Garth Brooks on January 22nd & 23rd and then again on January 29th & 30th. Garth Brooks hasn’t performed in Maryland for 19 years, and this will be his first performance in Baltimore.
The Hippodrome is bringing The Phantom of the Opera to Baltimore in January. The show starts January 27th and runs through February 7th. The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra will be showcasing Rachmaninoff’s Symphony Number 3, Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony, Pixar in Concert, and Brahms’ Symphony Number 4 in January.
Of course, all of the Baltimore attractions that make our city unique and fun will be in full swing in January as well. So don’t forget to include the National Aquarium, the Maryland Science Center, the Top of the World Observation Tower, the Visionary Arts Museum, the Baltimore Art Museum, or any of the other numerous Baltimore attractions when you travel this year.
